There are study carrels and tables scattered throughout the 300, 400, 500, and 600 levels of the library. Aside from the 500 level, which can get a lot of activity due to the presence of the front desk and public computers, most areas of the library remain relatively quiet. The quietest spot on the 500 level is probably the Periodical Room, which is located to your right after you come in the front doors.

There are also a few study rooms on the 600 level that have doors that can be closed, but we ask that they are primarily used for group study.
