Preston Library's current print newspapers include only U.S. newspapers.

We do have online access to several French language newspapers via Lexis Nexis Academic, including:

  • Le Monde, 1987-today
  • Le Figaro, 1986-today
  • Le Parisien, 1998-today.

To access these newspapers, navigate to Lexis Nexis and then select "browse" from the top of the page. On the next page, you'll select

  1. Publication type
  2. Country: France
  3. News

On the next page you can choose newspapers, and you should find about 55 titles.

Another way to find French language news is via Access World News, You can use the map or country list to select France. Be aware that this is not entirely newspapers, and there are some newswires, video, and other news sources.
